Focus Initiative has a new FOCUS!
Focus Initiative was developed to help individuals develop social, independent living, college prep and employment skills. We do this through social understanding groups, individual counseling, vocational assessments and advocacy services.
We are now working at putting 100% of our efforts towards transitional services. This includes helping individuals moving from middle/high school towards college/trade school, employment and independent living.
Everyone has stopped teasing me!!

My parents pay for almost everything and it drives me crazy. I want to finish college and quit mooching off my parents. My social coach is teaching me how to pick a major, find a better paying job and move into my own place. I have also learned helpful hints for job interviews this semester. I am learning that communication is the key ingredient (in relationships).

I just wanted to let you know that the speaker at your seminar was absolutely phenomenal, with much sought after information on Aspergers Syndrome and Autism. Your speakers offer a wealth of information, and the websites are an excellent source of detailed information and resources. I have a sixteen year old son, who has autism, and meeting with Mr. Williams on that day, to me, was a gift. His demeanor, his humor, his overall attitude - all in one package. Wow! I am so glad to have met him. He is a much needed individual in the world of Autism and AS.

My child is engaged and having fun at the same time she is learning. I would like to thank you for all your work. You will never know how much this means to us. Before I found you, I used to cry a lot not knowing how to help my child.
